leverage, in a business or political sense, inherently seeks exploitation nowadays.this was not the case in the times of Aristotle, where the concept of leverage first was described.this was not the case when the origins of the word formed: “Proto-Indo-European ‘legwh’ which described something light, agile, or easy. “—“So in essence, leverage refers to making something light by raising it in a specific manner.”how far off are we from evolving as a species, when the original meaning of the word is abused in business and politics to describe the opposite?how would our world look like when leverage is not understood as a tool to surpress, but rather a responsibility to apply that leverage in an uplifting fashion?
